Fear is Normal!

Could ask them to write in a journal and describe a time when they overcame a fear (non-technological!)
Don't need to share this with the group -- just think about it!

Gender Equity issues -- are the girls being short-changed?

Example: the Junior Pet Care badge.
The instructor demo'd some charts, spreadsheets, web sites, and text/documents. The point -- show how an office suite and a web browser can be used to find information and organize it for a typical badge. The ulterior motive here is to sneak technology into other stuff to get everyone comfortable with the idea!
